Recording Frequently Asked Questions
It is common to have dificulties in the beggining when recording, but there is no need to despair. There are some solutions that are very simple, and which are being added to the list as they come up. Here are some of them.
- Do I record chapter-by-chapter or just start and stop whenever I want?
- Record chapter-by-chapter. It will be much easier to handle the file. Record a whole chapter so that the same quality and voice will be throughout the chapter.
- How should the introduction for each chapter be?
- Before each chapter, it should be said before beggining to read: "Name of the Book" + "Number of the Chapter" + "Title of the Chapter"; for example: if the book being read is the Desire of Ages, I would read: "The desire of Ages, chapter one, God with us" and then start reading the text of the first chapter.
- How do I end each chapter?
- After reading the last sentence of the chapter, taking the book Desire of Ages as example say: "The end of chapter one of the Desire of Ages". But the one should be changed by the number of the chapter being read.
