Problems Listening to files
If you have troubles listening to the files, here are some suggestions:
- If you need a program to open the audio, we suggest that you use the following:
- Windows Media Player
- iTunes
- If you are having hardware problems, we suggest that you contact a computer technician.
- If you are having problems opening the downloaded zip files, you might need to install Winzip or 7-zip. However, most systems can deal with zipped or compressed files. Try right-clicking the file and selecting the option "Extract All". If you have this option available, you will have to go to the new folder that was just created and the audio files will be there available.
- If you need an audio file manager, again, we suggest that you use iTunes or Windows Media Player.
Problems Downloading
If you are having troubles downloading the files, here are some suggestions:
- If you want to download any of the files, right-click on the desired link and select option "Save target as" or something like this, depending on which browser you are using, and choose the location in your computer that you want to save the file.
- Get a download manager, which will aid in downloading and saving the files to where you desire. If you are using OPERA browser, if you press CTRL+J a new window will open allowing you to save all links displayed in that page. Firefox also has a similar feature but you need to download and install a Firefox add-on.
- If your internet conection is dial-up, we suggest you don't try to download the books as a single ZIP file, because it is very big and it could take a long time and also reset the connection and you could lose your download. Try, instead, downloading chapter-by-chapter of the books that you want. However, if your connection is broadband, feel free to download the zip files, but know that it needs to be decompressed, and that is, once it is finished downloading, you need to right-click on the file and select option "Extract All".
